At MDX-R we use a modified version of the game (7v7 or 8v8) to teach basic lacrosse concepts to our 3rd and 4th grade players.
The MDX-R middle school program is a continuation of the US Lacrosse athlete player development model that we follow in the MDX-R ES program.
THE MDX-R HS program is one of the top programs in the mid- Atlantic region. The program is broken down into two seasons, fall and summer.
Our summer and fall high school rec leagues provide an affordable option for players who want more opportunities to play.
We are the travel division for two of Maryland’s most well established recreational organizations: Olney Boys & Girls Club (Montgomery County) and the Freedom Area Recreation Council (Carroll County)
Our program is designed for athletes who are committed to becoming the best and who are looking for quality instruction and recruiting guidance. We teach and emphasize speed, lacrosse IQ, and expect our players to bring a tenacious attitude and work ethic to every practice and game. In four years of existence, MDX-R has sent over 100 players off to NCAA, NJCAA, and NAIA college programs.
